"Thank you very much for your generous donation of $10,000"

May 11, 2011

Thank you very much for your generous donation of $10,000 to the Mayor’s Community & Education Fund in support of youth summer employment. We believe that it is essential to give our young people the opportunity for a first work experience to allow them to develop a strong work ethic and a sense of community. In this challenging economy, we are deeply gratified by your investment in the future of New Bedford.

Sincerely,

Scott W. Lang,
Mayor of New Bedford

This is a letter of commendation to Zoppo Construction, your staff and your entire team of workers that built our Noise Barriers here in North Lexington. For the past 14 months we were very fortunate to have a company such as yours, building this massive structure between our homes and Rt. 128/ 95 Highway.

From out neighborhood, to the entire Zoppo team, let this letter represent our sincere thanks for the quality of work and professionalism on behalf of all your employees. In our minds, there couldn’t have been a better choice of a construction company, by the state of Massachusetts, than R. Zoppo Corp.

Best regards,

Edwin L. LoTurco,
Chair: North Lexington Noise Barrier Committee and Residents

"R. Zoppo’s key personnel were some of the most knowledgeable staff and enjoyable to work with in over 20 years."

As part of a major upgrade to the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority’s Northern Supply pipelines, the above construction project comprised of rehabilitation and or/ installation of approximately 29,000 linear feet of water transmission pipeline.

Several portions of the work involved work on high volume Boston traffic routes such as Storrow Drive and Memorial Drive and the equally challenging high volume predestination areas of Harvard Square and Central Square, Cambridge, both of which were completed impeccably and flawlessly. R. Zoppo Corp. collected praise from both the city of Cambridge and Boston DPW officials for their ability to minimize intrusive excavations in small residential locations.

..Also worth mentioning is R. Zoppo Corp’s ability to successfully perform work in environmentally sensitive areas… In my opinion, R. Zoppo Corp. stands apart from most contractors in their immeasurable desire to satisfy the client.

R. Zoppo’s key personnel were some of the most knowledgeable staff and enjoyable to work with in over 20 years.

Sincerely,

Jerry Sheehan,
MWRA Resident Engineer
